Description
Battery pack configurations can be designed with several options, some of which are determined by the chemistry, cell type, desired voltage and capacity, and dimensional space constraints. A battery pack assembled using prismatic cells are usually more rigid. Hence this are mostly used for automotive and forklift. However, if the battery pack is assembled using cylindrical cells, which are connected using busbar or welding, the battery pack could be designed with much more flexibility.
