Good product for the money! I purchased 24 of these and are pleased with them. they provide plenty of light and can be put on a dimmer. They have a cheap feel, but get the job done. There is a version of these that have an all metal housing which I prefer over these (they are a little more expensive) These are more than 1/2 inch, which means they won't fit under a ceiling joist like the metal version which is 1/2 inch thick.

Installed these recessed lights as I didn’t want to have to pull all the vinyl soffit down to put actual cans in the ceiling of my covered screened in porch with it getting darker earlier I do a lot of grilling in the evenings and the ceiling fan light was not cutting it anymore. Decided to install these lights based on the mostly positive reviews I went with the 3000k variant as my eyes don’t like the white color very well. I’m very impressed I ordered the 12 pack and used 8 of them on the patio. Color temp and brightness spot on what I was looking for and looks great. Springs hold light perfectly on the vinyl and is not too heavy for the vinyl I did mount the junction boxes on the 2x6 above the vinyl. I have no complaints as of yet will update if any issue arise. About to place an order to do my basement ceiling as all I have is 2 ceiling fans down there with dark floors and dark walls and ceilings. Overall great product!
