Question:Does it supports 220 v / 240 v? product description says 85-265v, were as technical detail says 110v. which one is correct?

Answer:Work from 110 to 260v no problem

Question:can we hang it from wood ceiling? Or this is only for tile ceiling?

Answer:These are designed for a dropped ceiling; however, I used both sets of mine for drywall ceiling. For the kitchen, I cut holes in the ceiling to accommodate the power supply and mounted them flush against the ceiling. For another room, I built boxes from 1x3s. You can purchase the mounting kit separately.

Question:Do we need any extra wiring to connect the lights?

Answer:It requires direct wire nutting to your electrical source unless the source is a wall outlet or some kind of male/female connection but if not, it has your typical 3 wires, green white and black for direct connection to source.
