Replaced 4 250 watt metal halides with four of the 100 watt model led. I would say it is almost the same light ouput. Ceiling is 12 feet tall. These are instant on and silent. Build quality is what i would expect from a big box store item.

Hyperlite heat sinks and aluminum housing are top notch compared to other cheaper similar looking lights. Especially, if you leave them on a long time. I Installed a 50 watt (3600 lumen) flood outside the garage. It was brighter than a 500 watt halogen it replaced! So impressed, I put this high bay, 150 watt (21,000 Lumen, 5000K), in the center of my 20 x 25 ft 2 ½ car garage with a mount height of about 11 feet. I feared it would be too bright and almost bought the 100 watt but glad I didn’t. It easily covers the entire floor and 6 ft up on all the walls. It’s comparable and not quite as bright as 3 sets of 8 foot dual light bars (34,800 lumen) I currently have. Definitely more energy efficient and about 1/3 the cost of all those fluorescent based on current draw. A great 1 bulb coverage lamp for any homeowner garage.
