1. Bright and Flexible

 I was a little hesitant when I opened the box and looked at the mounting position of the solar panel. The maximum output of a panel only occurs when it is directly facing the sun. This kit doesn’t necessarily allow that to happen. HOWEVER, this light uses such little draw, even on a cloudy day, the battery is back up to 100%. The draw is so minimal it has remained above 75% battery since it was installed. I temporarily hung it in an easy to reach location because I wasn’t sure how well the batteries would hold up or how well the unit would charge during the day. It has been running for days without issue charging fully every day. I guess we shall see how the shorter winter months go but it will be hung higher now that I know it’ll work and spend less time in the shade. It’s currently mounted on the eastern side of my home, which means that after about noon, it looses direct sunlight.

The remote works well. I would say you need to be in about 25 feet of the unit for it to work properly. But all the buttons and settings have worked without issue.

Great product for the money and the flexibility it allows you to have. Not having to higher an electrician to run wire.

2. Bright, Good motion detection and Easy Setup

All excited about this solar light. It does not come with the pole - but that did not stop me from testing it out. Had the solar panel connected to the light and had it under the the sun whole day and tested it in the night. Amazing brightness. Coverage area about 200 sqft, but that will increase when i have it installed on the pole. Setup was pretty easy. Quality of the product feels good. Planning to buy another one, so that I do not have to worry about my backyard.
