1.can it be used in automotive?

Yes, it was designed for automotive use. Just make sure that the lights are directly wired to the battery without any ballast.

2.How many lumens doess the bulb produce at 12 volts?

Answer:It is 700lm in total, which is more than enough to replace a F15T8 fluorescent bulb.

3.Are they rotatable?

Answer:Yes they are with rotatable end caps. You can rotate them by +-90 degrees once you have locked them into your fixture.

4.Are these lights dimmable if you change the on/ off switch that controls the DC current to the fixture with a DC Dimmer switch?Answer:If your DC dimmer switch changes the voltage from 0-12V for dimming, it would perfectly fit. Other than that, I don't suggest to use this DC bulb with any other dimmer.
