1. Low voltage and high power
The big difference between LED street lamps and traditional high-pressure sodium street lamps is that the voltage required by the former is far less than the supply voltage of the latter. For LED street lights that use low-voltage DC power supplies, the power they generate is much greater than that of traditional street lights, so the former is brighter than the latter. Most of the LED street lights are GaN-based power type, so when combined with yellow phosphors, a high-efficiency and energy-saving white light diode is produced, and such a diode has the functions of safety, energy saving, and environmental protection. It is this characteristic that makes LED street lights widely used in urban lighting.
2, energy-saving and efficient light-emitting diode
Another nickname for LED street lights is semiconductor lighting, and the equipment produced by semiconductors used is light-emitting diodes, which can produce solid-state cold light sources under weak voltage. Under the action of low-voltage DC power supply, the semiconductors used in light-emitting diodes allow them to generate electrons that can be converted into photons by radiation in the light source area without restraint, so that low-voltage electrical energy can be converted into light energy.
3. Automatically control energy-saving devices
Each LED street lamp has a matching automatic energy-saving control device. The reason is that we have day and night every day. It will automatically adjust the brightness and range of the LED street lamp according to different brightness levels at different time periods. This kind of device can reduce the voltage power to a large extent and save electric energy. Through a series of computer control, effective management of large-scale use of LED street lights, a more humane management system, not only saves manpower, but also greatly reduces costs.
