The first step would be to know the size of your room by measuring the space, you will need to get width, length and the ceiling height or you can determine what height you are planning to install the lights at. Then you can also get the square footage, you can multiply the length by the width to get it.
To obtain the minimum lumen value required for the room multiply the square footage (sq ft) by 70, as an example if your room is 30ft long by 40ft wide you would get 1,200 square feet, then multiplying this result by 70 you would get 84,000 Lumens as the minimum value required to lit that space up, so for this example if you are planning to use this room as a storage area and not much light is required, this is the minimum lighting required. If the ceiling height would be determined at 15ft high then you could use just 4pcs 150w Hero Series 21,000 Lumens equals 84,000 Lumens required and obtain 47fc on the floor. If you were planning to use this same room for detailed work you would need to multiply the square footage value by 105 and roughly get the Lumens value, in this case it would be 126,000 Lumens, so in that case you would need to use 6pcs 150w Hero Series 21,000 Lumens equals 126,000 Lumens.
