Common problems in LED home lighting design
The methods for estimating the efficiency of optical systems, thermal systems, and electrical systems in LED home lighting design are as follows:
1. The efficiency of the optical system needs to consider the influence of secondary optical devices, such as the influence of lenses and diffusers on the efficiency of the optical system. Typical optical efficiencies through the secondary optics are typically 85% to 90%. In addition, there is also a certain amount of light loss in the lamp, such as the lamp cover, therefore, the absorption coefficient is generally considered.
2. Heat loss: Considering the typical luminous flux value at 25 ℃ in the data sheet of most LEDs, the junction temperature of the practical LED is > 25 ℃, therefore, the relative flux of the LED at a higher junction temperature needs to be considered output.
3. Electrical loss: The electrical loss is mainly considered that the efficiency of the LED driver is generally not 100%, generally 80%~9O%.
