Comparison of power consumption and lighting effect of LED stadium lights in the arena
LED stadium lights in the indoor stadium lighting lighting mode
In the indoor badminton stadium lighting, there are two lighting modes of the four LED stadium lights. The first is to arrange the lights evenly in a matrix type. The method is to treat the entire stadium as a unit and arrange them evenly according to the square meters covered by each LED stadium light. The second type is to set up lights independently for each field, with each badminton court as a unit, and each badminton court is independently controlled by a switch. The two lighting modes use different numbers of LED stadium lights. It is more common to adopt a matrix-type uniform lighting mode because it saves the number of LED stadium lights.

The number of LED stadium lights in matrix uniform lighting mode
In the uniformly arranged lights of the badminton court halls, the area, number of courts, and placement of the badminton court halls are different. On average, the number of LED stadium lights used in each badminton court is also different. In the lighting installation of badminton courts, the average number and power consumption of LED stadium lights for each badminton court are usually:
1. 400W metal halide lamp: the average badminton court is about 4-6 lamps, and the power consumption is about 450W*(4--6)=1800W-2700W. (450W refers to including the power consumption of the ballast)
2. T5 straight tube row lights: on average, each badminton court is usually 6-8 light rows, and the power consumption is about 196W*(6-8) rows=1176W-1568W
3. High-frequency electrodeless lights: The average badminton court is about 6-8 lights, and the power consumption is about 180W*(6-8)=1080W-1440W (take 180W electrodeless lights as an example).
4. High-power energy-saving lamps: Due to the large number of manufacturers, brands, and specifications, the nominal power and actual power are quite different, and it is difficult to summarize and accurately. This article chooses the actual lighting data of Qingdao Frank 6U-60W high-frequency energy-saving lamps whose nominal power is consistent with actual power as an example. Franken high-frequency energy-saving lamps: the average badminton court area is generally 6-8 lamps, and the power consumption of each badminton court LED stadium lamp is about 60W*(6-8)=360W-480W.
