Factors affecting the life of LED explosion-proof lamps

1. Core tube quality


During the entire manufacturing process of LED chips, other processing processes such as environmental pollution of residual positive ions and defects in lattice constants are harmful to their service life.


2. Post-processing technology packaging


Whether the packaging of LED explosion-proof lamp post-processing technology is effective or not will endanger the service life of LED explosion-proof lamps. In enterprises with work experience, LED packaging is protected by intellectual property rights. The packaging standards of post-processing technology in such enterprises are relatively high, so the service life of LED explosion-proof lamps is guaranteed to a certain extent. There are also some small companies whose LED post-processing packaging is relatively fake, which can be seen from the appearance design, but their processing structure and processing quality are relatively weak, which seriously endangers the service life of the LED.


3. Switching power supply for lighting equipment


Whether the switching power supply is effective will endanger the service life of lighting fixtures. The current fluctuation of the switching power supply is large, or the single pulse frequency of the switching power supply is high, which endangers the service life of the LED light source. 4. Lighting Design


The key to effective lighting design is to release the energy brought by LED lighting. Applying high-quality LED products of large enterprises with work experience to different lighting fixtures, the service life of LEDs can vary several times or even dozens of times. For example, after some products use the upper and lower small rectifier tubes to 0.07W, due to the lack of effective heat pipe heat dissipation organization, the light loss is fast. There are also some integrated light source lighting fixtures (single 30W, 50W, 100W) in the sales market. The light source of this kind of commodity is not well dissipated by the part of the light source that contacts the heat pipe, causing some commodities to lose more than 50% of the light after being illuminated for several months. Therefore, when purchasing LED explosion-proof lights, be sure to choose a manufacturer with work experience.


5. Working temperature


The current LED explosion-proof lights tend to have a short cycle, mainly because the switching power supply cycle is short, and the switching power supply cycle is short because the electrolytic capacitor cycle is short. Electrolytic capacitors must be operated at a temperature of a few degrees to show their useful life, and most require an operating temperature of 105°C. The lower the operating temperature, the longer the life of the capacitor. Under normal circumstances, a general LED explosion-proof lamp with a nominal time of 50,000 hours is sufficient.
