How to reduce the light decay of led tubes?
(1) The quality of the LED product itself.
. The quality of the LED chip used is not good, and the brightness decays quickly.
. There are defects in the production process, and the heat dissipation of the LED chip cannot be well derived from the PIN pin, which causes the temperature of the LED chip to be too high and the chip attenuation is aggravated.
. LED packaging technology does not use anti-attenuation material technology, and the special glue for white light LED with phosphor is not good in temperature resistance and anti-attenuation characteristics.
. The heat dissipation of the LED is unacceptable in the design and application process.
(2) The problem of using conditions.
. The LED is driven by a constant current, and some LEDs are driven by a constant voltage, which makes the LED decay too fast.
. The drive current is greater than the rated drive current.
. The working current of the LED does not match the chip size. If the chip size is less than 12 mils, it is recommended that the working current be less than 15 mA. If the chip size is more than 12 mils, 20mA current can be used.
. The high explosion of the LED leads to low luminous efficiency and excessive heat generation.
The thermal resistance of the LED chip itself, the influence of silver glue, the heat dissipation effect of the substrate, and the glue and gold wire are also related to light decay. There are many reasons for the light decay of LED products, and the most critical one is heat dissipation.
Recommendation: Use aluminum substrate for heat dissipation. It is unwise to use glass fiber board for heat dissipation
