How UV LED is widely used in curing
The advantage of UV LED technology is that the discrete nature of LEDs allows for a wider range of curing system designs to better meet the needs of each unique application.

Compared with traditional curing technology, this allows the structural design of the lamp and the UV output to be customized according to the needs of the application market, resulting in a more efficient and economical UV LED curing solution. This also means that manufacturers of UV LEDs need to have a deeper understanding of the application site in terms of structural design and need to understand the needs of users more, because different designs will result in completely different efficiency of product output, and these differences are derived from the depth of the equipment manufacturer's actual understanding of the application. Benwei Lighting Co., Ltd. has more than 10 years of R&D experience in this area.

For example, UV digital inkjet fixing and full curing in scanning machines and narrow single-channel printers, screen printing and local curing adhesives used in product assembly began to use UV LED curing 20 years ago. However, due to the lack of in-depth understanding at the time, the common point of early products was slow production line speed and long part processing time. Although the irradiance (watts/square centimeter) emitted by a single UV LED system in the early years was low, sufficient irradiance can be provided by installing the lamp head within 10-15 mm of the curing surface. At the same time, in terms of energy density, by extending the exposure time in static devices and using multiple passes in dynamic devices, UV LED has the advantage of long life. After solving the heat dissipation problem, it can be used for a long time, which greatly improves the use scenarios of UV LED.
