Introduction to the principle of residential off-grid and grid-connected power generation systems

The working principle of the residential grid-connected power generation system:

Resident grid-connected power generation system is to install solar modules on the roofs of residents, connect the system to the grid, and jointly undertake the task of power supply. When the solar radiation of the components meets the power generation requirements, the inverter in the system converts the DC power generated by the photovoltaic power generation system into AC power, directly supplying power to the household load, and the insufficient part is supplemented by the city power, and the photovoltaic power generation If it is greater than the household electricity consumption, the remaining electric energy is merged into the power grid. The holder of the power generation system can also choose to directly integrate all the power generated by the photovoltaic system into the grid. When the solar radiation cannot meet the power generation requirements of the system, all the electricity required by the household load is directly supplied by the grid.

The structure of the residential grid-connected power generation system is relatively simple, consisting of photovoltaic modules, DC switches, inverters and cables. The capacity of the residential roof system is related to the size of the roof area, usually ranging from 2kW-10kW.

The working principle of the residential off-grid power generation system:

The working principle of the residential off-grid power generation system is very similar to that of the residential grid-connected power generation system. The difference is that the power of the off-grid system is not transmitted to the public grid but is directly consumed by the load. Taking into account the volatility of photovoltaic power generation, such as electricity can be generated during the day but not at night, the electricity generation is good on a sunny day, and the electricity generation is small or not in the rainy weather. Resident off-grid power generation systems need to be equipped with batteries (sets). The off-grid solar power generation system is composed of photovoltaic modules, controllers, inverters and batteries (groups).
