    Energy saving and emission reduction has become one of the "top priorities" facing and urgently to be resolved in Chinese society today and in the future. Not long ago, in order to complete the emission reduction tasks in the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan", some regions even adopted extraordinary measures such as "cutting the switch and limiting power". When people are "running their brains" for energy saving and emission reduction, LED energy saving and solar street lights with their remarkable "energy saving and emission reduction" effects are quietly setting off a new revolution.

   The power consumption of LED energy-saving lamps is only 1/10 of that of traditional bulbs, and the service life is 100 times that of traditional bulbs.

   Compared with high-pressure sodium lamps widely used in public places such as roads, stations, squares, etc., the power consumption of LED street lamps in LED energy-saving lamps is only 40% to 50% of that of high-pressure sodium lamps. 100 watts of LED street light is equivalent to 250 watts of brightness of high pressure sodium lamp;

   250 watt high pressure sodium lamps consume 1 kWh every 3 hours, while 100 watt LED street lights consume 1 kWh every 10 hours.

  According to 1,000 urban public lighting street lamps, each LED energy-saving lamp is lit for 10 hours a day, and the electricity price is 1 yuan: 250 watts of high-pressure sodium lamps have a daily electricity cost of 3,500 yuan, and an annual electricity bill of more than 1.27 million yuan. The 100-watt LED street lamp can save energy by 2,400 degrees per day, which can save more than 870,000 yuan in electricity bills a year, and the efficiency of LED energy-saving lamps reaches 68.5%.

   The service life of high-pressure sodium lamps is about 4000 hours, and the average annual maintenance cost for each street lamp is about 120 yuan. Calculated by 1,000 street lamps, the annual maintenance cost is 120,000 yuan. The LED energy-saving lamp has a service life of more than 50,000 hours, normal use can reach more than eight years, and the damage rate is extremely low.

  According to the survey and calculation of relevant institutions, as of 2010, if one-third of China's existing lighting sources adopt LED energy-saving lamps and solar street lamps, it can save 150 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity, and it can save 120 billion yuan per kilowatt-hour calculated at 0.8 yuan. According to the estimation of the current electric energy structure, it is equivalent to reducing 25 million to 43.2 million tons of carbon dioxide and reducing sulfur dioxide emissions by 1.35 million tons
