1. Water seepage at the screw hole is a place that is easy for manufacturers to overlook. There are several reasons for water seepage here:
1. The quality of the shell causes the screw to slip (the hole is too large and the material is poor);
2. Poor screw quality causes screw head flower;
3. The screw hole of the plug has a sharp edge, and the screw is not in place;
4. There is a sharp edge on the contact surface of the plug and the shell, and there is still a gap between the plug and the shell under the condition of screw locking;
5. When the screw is locked, the sealing ring of the plug is offset (due to the extrusion of the screw, the extrusion of the shell and the plug, etc.);
6. The torque of the electric batch is too small.
Assembly Notes:
1. Before installing the sealing ring, check whether there is a sharp edge on the contact surface of the plug and the shell and the screw hole position, select the defective products and then install the sealing ring. The sealing ring must be installed in place, and the fixed glue is even and appropriate;
2. Self-inspection of sliding teeth and screw head flowers at the locking screw station;
3. Confirm the screw torque and fix it before assembly.
For the phenomenon of water seepage into the screw hole, many factories now add a sealing ring to the screw to reduce the defect, but the insurance still needs to be done well in each process and in place.
2. Water seepage on the contact surface between glass and shell
Especially in the case of thermal expansion and contraction due to sunlight, the temperature rise of the lamp itself, and the low temperature of northern customers after the lamp is installed and used, this step has not been handled properly during the production process (some products may still be damaged after the factory test is OK). produce water seepage, water ingress, etc.).
Assembly Notes:
1. When installing glass, be sure to use glue with sufficient concentration to pass the test;
2. Before installing the glass, check whether there is a fault in the glue, and the glue must exceed the contact surface between the housing installation groove and the glass by 2±0.5MM;
3. Press the glass in place with the edge when installing the glass.
