Precautions for LED high bay lamps

Many people hope to achieve higher brightness by simply increasing the number of LED high bay light fixtures in warehouses, factories and other industrial areas. However, it won't get you a better lighting experience! Do you want to know why? Well, using better, more efficient lighting is the solution to all your unknowing lighting problems.

With so many options on the market today, it can be overwhelming when it comes to choosing fixtures. The easiest way to make it easy for yourself is to understand the main considerations for choosing a light fixture.

watts of high bay lighting fixtures

There are many types of lighting fixtures on the market, such as halogen lamps, metal halide lamps, incandescent lamps, fluorescent lamps, etc., but LEDs are the trend. Now people are aware of the impact of wattage and lumens.

Some people think that high wattage intake results in bright lights, which is completely insane. Lumen output specifies the brightness level of the light fixture. Consider high lumen results with low energy intake. For example, Camry's LED high bay light can emit a maximum of 38,000 lumens with an energy intake of 200W, which is equivalent to the brightness of an ordinary 350W LED high bay light. (PS. This light fixture may be ideal for areas with high ceilings above 15 meters.)

Required CRI

By paying attention to the visual level of the space, you should keep in mind a high CRI (color rendering index). The closer a fixture's CRI is to 100, the better the lighting you'll be documenting. You can see the difference in the results of different CRI scores in the images mentioned below. CRI specifies the true color of the display object.

specific CCT

CCT (Correlated Color Index) represents the shade of light. CCT is calculated in "Kelvin" and has been differentiated into shades such as:

* 2700K – 3300K (warm white mask)

* 4000K – 4500K (Natural White Mask)

* 5000K – 5700K (Daylight White Lens)

* 6000K – 6500K (Cool White Shades)

These are the light-shade ratios of the different colors that represent the lighting results. Light and Shadow has the ability to set the warehouse work experience.

Beam angle

Most customers usually ignore the beam angle when placing an order. Unlike traditional lamps (metal halide bulbs, HPS, fluorescent tubes, etc.), LED high bay lights have different beam angles such as 60 degrees, 90 degrees and 120 degrees. Different beam angles result in different lighting performance. For low ceiling areas, a wide beam angle is generally recommended, and for high ceiling areas, a narrow beam angle is generally recommended.

Reflective

Boards Not everyone needs reflectors. In fact, reflectors are often used in traditional high-bay fixtures because they are 360-degree lighting. Reflectors can help redirect light to the floor. However, LED high bay light fixtures illuminate directly to the floor. Due to the lens design, you can choose different beam angle lenses to replace the reflector. However, if you need low glare, you'll need an aluminum reflector or polycarbonate diffuser.

Input voltage

Most people accept an input voltage of AC90-305V, while a small percentage of people do need an input voltage of AC200-480V.
