You're considering buying a BENWEI lithium battery, and you might be wondering which charger to use for your particular need. Nearly all chargers should function, however there are a few that we encounter most commonly across various applications.
There are a few things you need to be sure when choosing a charger for your setup before we discuss the chargers we see the most frequently. By looking at the voltage setpoints, you should first confirm that the charge profile you are using or the one that is on your charger is suitable for lithium batteries. The voltage set points are listed in the charging instructions paper on our website, where you may find them.
These voltage setpoints, for instance, for our 12-volt Legacy products would be between 14 and 14.6 for bulk and absorption and between 13.3 and 13.8 for float. Your charger will be able to have a customised charge profile configured for the majority of RVs and big boats. It should be noted that multi-bank chargers are advised for series systems and that an AGM charger should function just fine if you are switching from lead-acid to lithium.
