The reason why car aluminum heat dissipation is better than die-cast aluminum
Car aluminum is an aluminum profile, and the material is processed by a lathe; die-cast aluminum is to melt solid aluminum into aluminum water, and then die-cast it through a mold.
But basically it is produced through the following two processes.
The first type: die-cast aluminum housing
The aluminum shell of die-casting LED energy-saving lamp is generally made of zinc-aluminum alloy, and its conductivity is about 80-90W/M.K. Many low-power spotlights of 1-3W basically use this process. Its advantages are low production cost and fast production speed, but the heat dissipation is worse.
The second type of aluminum housing processed by CNC lathes is referred to as car aluminum
The aluminum shell of LED energy-saving lamps generally chooses aluminum alloy 6063-T5, and its thermal conductivity is about 180-190W/MK. The LED energy-saving lamp shells with higher power use this process. The aluminum can be more exquisite, and the thickness is easy to control. In this way, the heat dissipation surface area will increase, and the heat dissipation effect will be enhanced. Its advantages are that the heat dissipation effect is significantly better than that of die-casting.
Die-casting is to melt the alloy material and pour it into a mold.
Turned aluminum is made by turning materials (usually pure aluminum in the LED industry) on lathes and milling machines.
The same product is high-grade and expensive, and the heat dissipation is better if the design is reasonable.
Benwei's high-quality LED fluorescent lamps use aluminum profiles to dissipate heat, that is, pure aluminum is used for heat dissipation, and the effect is good, and the surface temperature is below 49 degrees. long lasting.
