Wuqiao County breaks the EMC model for the first time to realize the transformation of LED street lamps

The newly installed LED street lights can automatically adjust the opening and closing and lighting brightness of the street lights according to different seasons, different road sections, and different times through the energy-saving intelligent control system, and illuminate Wuqiao County intelligently!
Since June 2017, Wuqiao County has planned the EMC model to carry out the LED street lamp renovation plan. The EMC model is a new market-oriented energy-saving mechanism that pays the full cost of energy-saving projects with reduced energy costs. Its advantage lies in benefit sharing. At present, the Wuqiao Smart LED Street Lamp Monitoring Center has been successfully debugged, and all urban street lamps have been transformed. According to different road sections, different seasons and different times, the energy-saving intelligent control system automatically adjusts the opening and closing of street lamps and lighting brightness, quickly locks the point of failure, and instantly counts important data such as lighting rate and power consumption. A few days ago, such a new type of street lamp appeared in Wuqiao City. According to estimates, the retrofitted street lamps can save more than 60% of electricity every year, extend their service life by more than 5 times, and have a lighting rate of more than 98%. The energy savings are used to pay for the full cost of the energy saving project. Wuqiao County is the first county and city in our city to use this model (EMC model) to complete the transformation of urban street lamps. The project comprehensively renovated 13 main roads including Changjiang Road, Huanghe Road and Huaihe Road in Wuqiao City, as well as the street lights of the three overpasses in the south, middle and north. A total of more than 9,000 buried cables were replaced.
Since then, Wuqiao County has lit up smart LED street lamps, embarked on the road of smart city, and started a better life for citizens with wisdom.
