LED poultry lighting system saves costs for farmers

In the same lighting time, the same batch of broilers needs 2257.92 kilowatt-hours of electricity, and the electricity cost is 1,580.544 yuan. After replacing the LED system, the total power of the entire system is 732W, which requires 573.888 kilowatt-hours of electricity in the same time, and the electricity cost is 401.72 yuan, which is nearly 300% lower than that of energy-saving lamps. A batch of broilers with a total of 6 weeks of breeding time can save 11788824 yuan in electricity bills. Jiang Jinsong said that the most important thing is that the application of LED lighting system can increase the survival rate of broilers by 2% to 4%.

 

LED poultry lighting system has changed the industry chain

 

At present, most large-scale broiler breeding enterprises in my country generally adopt a 24-hour light system. Poultry is exposed to light stimulation for a long time and lack sufficient rest time, and their health status will not be optimistic.

 

According to laboratory data, LED can significantly promote the production performance of poultry according to the sensitivity of poultry vision to various bands of light. In the field application, the slaughter weight of broilers increased by 5.06%, and the cumulative egg production of single hens increased by 147.3 grams. At the same time, LED lighting conditions improved the poultry feed conversion efficiency, the feed-to-meat ratio was reduced by an average of 3.21%, and the feed-to-egg ratio was reduced by an average of 2.01%. .

 

At present, the system has been promoted and demonstrated in breeding farms in Zhejiang, Anhui, Fujian and other provinces, and has been extended to Tianjin breeding farms across the Yangtze River northward. The scale of application is continuously expanding. With the development of the broiler industry, high-standard, high-quality standardized chicken houses are increasing year by year.
