Why is the optimal color temperature for pigs between 4000K and 6000K?

Porcine ocular physiology suggests that farmed pigs are best suited for low amounts of natural light. Pigs have two sets of cones in each eye, which give them their highest wavelength sensitivity at 439 nm (blue color) and 556 nm. Pigs have dichromatic vision (green color). Pig's eyes lack photoreceptors that can sense red (>650 nm).
