How does blue light damage the eyes?

When light enters the eye, mainly the cornea, lens and retina absorb blue light, and it is unclear whether other ocular tissues such as the conjunctiva absorb blue light. Studies have focused on the effects of blue light on the retina, causing changes in the macula of patients.

1. Three types of blue light products can make eyes instantly blind, and the damage is irreversible.

2. One-year-old children have the largest pupils, and the damage rate of products containing blue light to the macula through the eyeball is 100%. The pupil of a two-year-old child becomes smaller, and the damage rate of products containing blue light to the macula through the eyeball is 70%--80%. Children from the age of six have smaller pupils, and the damage rate of products containing blue light to the macula through the eyeball is 60% - 70%. For people over 60 years old, the damage rate of blue light products to the macula through the eyeball is 20%.

If your child is still young, please keep him away from blue light products.
