Metal halide lamps cost $8.40 an hour to run on electricity, whereas LED lights cost $4.20. Metal halide lights will cost $756 per month and LED lights will cost $378 per month, assuming you turn on the lights 15 evenings a month for 6 hours each.
Costs of installation and upkeep
LED lights easily take the lead when comparing the lifetime maintenance costs of metal halide lamps with LED bulbs. LED lighting has an eight-fold longer lifetime than metal halide lighting. When replacing lights is pricey, you may save a lot of money by using this longevity.
