As an industry related to classroom eye protection lamps and lighting, I still want to discuss from the perspective of lighting and lighting design: what is the current situation of our campus classroom lighting design? What are the requirements of national standards for campus lighting planning? Regarding the lighting planning of campus classrooms, what should we do more reasonably?


1. The current situation of lighting planning in many campus classrooms in my country, only the inquiry found that the problems existing in the lighting environment of our campus classrooms are mainly reflected in the following aspects:

1. The illuminance of blackboards and desks is lower than the illuminance value stipulated by the national standard, and students study in a low-light environment for a long time;

2. There is no special classroom blackboard light, or the classroom blackboard light is not standardized. For example, if ordinary simple fluorescent lamps are used as blackboard lights, not only the blackboard illumination is low, but the visibility is low, and students can also see the lights when watching the blackboard. The direct glare of the tube can easily cause visual fatigue;

3. Generally, simple fluorescent lamps with low quality, low price, high energy consumption, and skills remain at the level of the 1960s and 1970s; and more use of magnetic ballasts, there is a severe stroboscopic effect;

4. Soft hanging is generally used, and the ceiling fan is installed above the lamp. When the ceiling fan and the light are turned on at the same time, there is a severe phenomenon of lamp swing and light shaking;

5. Generally, fluorescent tubes with a high color temperature (6500K) are used in the classroom with a cooler light color.

Second, what rules does the country have in classroom lighting planning?


The lighting design of campus classrooms, like other industries, also has many national standards for the construction industry. Among them, in 2004, the Ministry of Construction promulgated a new "Building Lighting Design Standard GB50034-2004", the new standard made the following rules for classroom lighting design:


1. Desk illumination 300lx; blackboard illumination 500lx;


2. Illumination uniformity (minimum illumination/uniform illumination) 0.7;


3. The unified glare value UGR shall not be higher than 19;


4. The shading angle of direct lamps should not be less than 15° (when the uniform brightness of the light source is 20-50kcd/m²);


5. Power density value: the current value is 11W/m², the target value is 9W/m²;


6. It is advisable to use thin tube diameter straight tubular fluorescent lamps;


7. The correlated color temperature of the light source is 3300-5300K.


The state has formulated relevant standards for classroom lighting planning, in order to allow our children to have a healthier educational environment.
