How to choose the power configuration scheme of LED fluorescent lamp?


There are three LED fluorescent lamp drive power supply manufacturers that will cause systemic defects in product quality:

The first category is the development of factories for LED chips or LED lights, which will penetrate downstream. There is not much knowledge about LED power supply circuits and LED fluorescent lamp power supplies; there are many problems in the configuration and selection of power supplies.

The second category is the factory that was originally doing general lighting, and the knowledge of the LED power supply circuit is not sufficient; the LED tube has a higher power supply requirement, if the choice is not good, it will directly affect its service life.

The third category is a newly opened factory that has a limited understanding of LED power supplies. Below I summarize some common problems found in practice and learning (including the Internet), and I welcome all colleagues to correct me.

Why must the LED fluorescent lamp power supply have a constant current?

The semiconductor characteristics of LEDs determine that they are greatly affected by the environment. For example, temperature. LEDs are current-sensitive components. The increase in LED current will directly lead to increased heat generation. Long-term operation above the rated current will cause the LED chip to stay in a high temperature state for a long time. Shorten the life of the LED. The LED constant current power supply can ensure that its working current remains the same when the voltage and other factors change, thereby protecting the LED chip from high temperature damage. As the saying goes-the power supply is easy to understand and easy to destroy.

The power efficiency requirements are high. According to the different requirements of customers on the light efficiency, the high efficiency of the power supply of the LED lamp tube will improve the light efficiency of the LED lamp tube.

For PF value, generally high-power 18w, generally above 0.9 is better

For methods, there are isolation and non-isolation. Non-isolation is low in price and high in efficiency, which is a trend, and isolation is more expensive.

There are special requirements for series and parallel, isolation is generally low series, high current; non-isolated power supply is generally high series and small current.
