How to provide students with a learning environment that meets the requirements of eye hygiene

The Ministry of Education and others jointly issued the "Implementation Plan for the Comprehensive Prevention and Control of Myopia in Children and Adolescents", which aims to effectively control the incidence of myopia in children and adolescents in my country and improve the visual health of children and adolescents. The document pointed out: "Each primary and secondary school must ensure that the lighting and lighting of the classrooms meet the requirements of relevant national documents and standards, and provide students with a learning environment that meets the requirements of eye hygiene."

Is vision health related to the lighting environment?

According to the "National Health Vision Report", the myopia rate of Chinese adolescents has been increasing in recent years. The myopia rate of high school and college students has exceeded 70%, and there is a trend of younger age. Studies have shown that in addition to subjective factors such as genetics, excessive eye use, and eye use habits, the impact of the classroom lighting environment on vision is very important.

According to experts, visual perception depends on the regulation of pupils and photosensitive cells. The pupil will adjust the size according to the intensity of the external light to control the amount of light entering. If the light is strong, the pupils will shrink. If the light is weak, the pupils will be enlarged. If the light is too strong or too dark for a long time, the muscles that regulate the pupils will remain in a state for a long time. Over time, the muscles will relax and the regulatory function will decline or even be lost. Therefore, if the classroom light is too strong or too dark, the children's vision will be affected.

What is the current situation of classroom lighting in my country?

At present, the lighting conditions in most classrooms are not up to standard. Some classroom desks and blackboards have insufficient illuminance, and some blackboards have insufficient illuminance uniformity. Many classrooms also have problems with fluorescent lights. Some fluorescent tubes have a flickering sensation, some light sources are above the ceiling fan, and some have too bright light and poor color rendering.

It is reported that the primary and secondary classrooms across the country are still dominated by fluorescent lights. Some school classrooms have begun to carry out lighting standardization reforms, and more and more classrooms have begun to use LED classroom eye protection lights.

The classroom is the main place for students to study and the place where students spend the longest time. If the classroom lighting is not done well, it will cause the problem of myopia among young people. Therefore, classroom lighting has become a new battlefield for myopia prevention and control! Eye lights strictly control the color temperature, glare, blue light, illuminance and other issues in educational lighting to prevent bad lights from harming the eyesight health of students!

Benwei Lighting designed lighting fixtures specially designed for classroom lighting-led eye-protecting classroom lights and led eye-protecting blackboard lights, which conform to the national standard. The desk maintains an average (constant) illuminance greater than 300lx and an illuminance uniformity of 0.7; the blackboard maintains an average (constant) illuminance. 500lx, uniformity of illuminance 0.8; color rendering index greater than 90, high color reproduction; using grille anti-glare design, glare value less than 16, no glare; color temperature is 5000K, comfortable and soft; uniform illumination throughout the classroom, no stroboscopic; no Blue light hazards.
