Traditional street lamps cast an elliptical spot under the road, and a lot of light is projected to unnecessary places, so the lamps need a larger luminous flux to ensure the illumination of the road. The LED street light can be made into a rectangular light plate after secondary light distribution to adapt to the road surface.
Secondly, most of the metal halide street light spectrum is red light, and the visual response of red light is very low, and it requires a larger radiant flux to achieve the same luminous flux than green light.
Therefore, it feels that the LED street light has less impact.
