Lighting installation process
1. Lamp inspection
Check whether the lamps meet the requirements according to the installation site of the lighting market; install accessories according to the packing list; pay attention to check whether the relevant documents and technologies of the manufacturer are complete; check whether the appearance of the lamps is normal, whether there are scratches, deformation, metal falling off, corrosion and other phenomena.
2. Assemble the lamps
Integrate the components according to the installation instructions. The length of the wires in the lamp should be appropriate. The multi-strand flexible wires should be tinned. Attention should be paid to the uniform wiring color to facilitate the distinction between the live wire and the neutral wire. Straighten out the wiring inside the light.
3. Lamp installation
Ordinary lamp head installation: leave the power cord to a sufficient length for maintenance, then cut off the remaining first and strip off the wire head, and install the lamp holder on the junction box with connecting screws.
Hanging wire lamp head installation: leave the power cord to a sufficient length for maintenance, cut off the remaining wires and strip the wire ends, pass the wires through the base of the lamp head, and fix the base on the junction box with connecting screws. Take a piece of lamp wire, connect the lamp head at one end, fasten the safety buckle in the lamp head, and thread the other end of the lamp wire into the base cover bowl, fasten the safety buckle in the cover bowl, and connect the lamp wire with the power cord on the base with a crimp cap, Screw the bowl on.
4. Power-on test run
Turn on the power and test whether it is powered on.
Notes on installation of lamps
1. Do a good job of insulation treatment, especially in humid environments, such as bathrooms and kitchens, where insulation is not well done, and it is easy to short-circuit.
2. Large lamps, especially glass lamps, must use iron expansion screws (iron expansion pins) when installing the hanger. Do not punch holes first, and then screw in wooden wedges to fix them. This method only It is suitable for lateral fixing on the wall, not for the top surface. It is also not recommended to use plastic expansion tubes, because plastic expansion tubes will age over time.
3. Prepare some No. 6 screwdrivers in advance, because you will encounter such a situation when installing the lamp: when installing the chassis, because the original screwdriver is sealed at one end, it cannot be screwed to a certain extent. It will be less powerful. In this case, you can screw a No. 6 screwdriver first and tighten it up, and then screw the original screwdriver, which is not only beautiful but also prevents the chassis from being unable to fully match the top surface.
