Protecting eyesight starts with school classroom lights


  The classroom is the main place of activity for students in the school. The lighting of the classroom directly affects the learning efficiency and visual health of the students. However, at this stage, the quality of the lighting environment in most primary and secondary schools in my country cannot meet the requirements of national standards. There are problems such as insufficient brightness, uneven illuminance, aging of lighting equipment, and unreasonable installation, which seriously endanger the visual health and eye safety of students. Myopia cannot be completely cured, so the most important thing for us is to prevent myopia, which is to cultivate good eye habits. The core is to reduce or avoid long-term short-term use of the eyes.

   1. LED classroom lamp desktop and blackboard illuminance hygienic requirements


   Keep the average illuminance of the desktop not less than 300lx and the uniformity of illuminance not less than 0.7; keep the average illuminance of the blackboard surface not less than 500lx and the uniformity of illuminance not less than 0.8.


   2. Classroom lighting design and installation hygiene requirements


  1. It is recommended to use hanging grille lights, the efficiency of the lamp is not less than 60%; the unified glare value (UGR) is not more than 19; the electronic ballast is used; the color temperature is 3300k-5300k, and the color rendering index is not less than 80.


  2. Using boom installation, the classroom lighting power density should not be greater than 11W/m2, and the area with conditions should be less than 9W/m2. The vertical distance (g) between the lamp and the table should not be less than 1700mm.


   3. Blackboard lighting design and installation hygiene requirements


Use special blackboard lamp with asymmetrical light intensity distribution characteristics, the efficiency of the lamp is not less than 75%; adopt the boom installation method, the lamp is installed parallel to the blackboard, the parallel distance between the lamp and the blackboard d=700mm~1000mm, the vertical distance from the upper edge of the blackboard H=100mm~200mm. By adjusting the control angle of the blackboard lamp, the direct glare of the blackboard lamp on the teacher is avoided.
