UV germicidal lamps need attention
Everyone is not unfamiliar with ultraviolet germicidal lamps, and ultraviolet sterilization can bring us a good sterilization and disinfection effect. Its main working principle is to penetrate the cell membrane of microorganisms through ultraviolet radiation, destroy the DNA structure of various germs, bacteria, parasites and other pathogenic bodies, destroy their nucleic acid molecular bonds, and make the bacteria immediately die or be unable to reproduce. Destroy and change the DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) structure of microorganisms, so as to achieve the effect of sterilization and disinfection.

We understand the benefits of UV germicidal lamps, and at the same time, we also know what needs to be paid attention to in my UV germicidal lamps:
1. Do not let the ultraviolet light source irradiate people, so as not to cause damage. The effects of UV rays on the human skin and eyes are particularly pronounced. Short-term exposure to human body will cause skin redness, itching, and allergic papules; prolonged exposure will cause serious damage to skin tissue, and sufficient dose of exposure may even cause skin cancer. Ultraviolet rays are also very harmful to human eyes. Long-term exposure to ultraviolet radiation can lead to cataracts and even blindness.
2. When using ultraviolet rays to sterilize the surface of the article, the irradiated surface should be directly irradiated by ultraviolet rays, and a sufficient irradiation dose should be achieved. Due to the straight-line propagation of light, reflection, penetration or absorption occurs when it is blocked by an object. Ultraviolet disinfection requires that the wattage of ultraviolet lamps per cubic meter of space is ≥1.5W, and the irradiation time is generally 30 to 60 minutes. And it is stipulated that the irradiation intensity of ultraviolet rays shall not be lower than 70ūW/cm2, otherwise the sterilization effect will be poor or invalid, and the purpose of disinfection will not be achieved.
Third, the application should also pay attention to the wiping and cleaning of the lamp. When using a new lamp, you can use 75% alcohol gauze to wipe the lamp tube to remove dust and oil stains on the lamp tube. In the process of use, wipe regularly and do a good job of cleaning the lamp tube, so as not to affect the violet transmittance and radiation intensity.
