3 Thermal planning:
In the application of high-power LEDs, heat dissipation is a big problem. For example, if the photoelectric conversion efficiency of a 10W white LED is 20, 8W of electrical energy will be converted into heat energy. If no heat dissipation measures are taken, the core temperature of the high-power LED will rise rapidly. When the junction temperature (TJ) rises When the temperature exceeds the maximum allowable temperature (usually 150°C), the high-power LED will be damaged due to overheating. Precautions for explosion-proof lighting:
1. Maintenance and repair personnel need to undergo on-the-job training to understand the application functions of explosion-proof LED lamps and lanterns, and clarify the application requirements. Repair personnel must have professional knowledge and understand the product structure of explosion-proof LED lamps and lanterns.
2. Regularly remove the dust and dirt on the shell of the explosion-proof LED lamp in the oil field, and improve the light efficiency and heat dissipation performance of the lamp. The cleaning method can be sprayed with water (above the mark on the lamp) or wiped with a damp cloth according to the protective ability of the lamp shell. When cleaning with water spray, the power supply should be cut off, and it is strictly forbidden to use a dry cloth to wipe the plastic shell (transparent part) of the lamp to prevent static electricity.
3. Check whether the shell (transparent part) of the explosion-proof LED lamp is seriously discolored. If the discoloration is serious, it means that the plastic is aging. Check whether the transparent parts have been impacted by foreign objects, and whether the protective net is loose, desoldered, corroded, etc. If so, stop using it and repair and replace it in time.
4. If the light source is damaged, turn off the light in time and tell it to be replaced, so as to avoid the electrical components such as the ballast being in an abnormal state for a long time because the light source cannot be started.
5. If there is accumulated water in the lamp cavity of the lamp used in the humid environment, it should be removed in time, and the sealing parts should be replaced to ensure the protective function of the shell.
