What are the special requirements for school classroom lights?
In order for children to avoid myopia and fatigue during class, the selection of school lighting is very demanding. Regarding classroom lighting, it is the same as natural lighting. It is necessary to prevent glare, which will help children not to be dazzled when doing homework. Generally speaking, the illuminance on the blackboard should not be less than 150 lux if it is an incandescent lamp; if it is a fluorescent lamp, it should not be less than 300 lux; what are the specific requirements? Let’s take a look at the 100% lighting now!
Regarding the standard problem of classroom desktop illuminance using natural light or artificial light for classroom lamps, the regulations of different countries are inconsistent. As far as natural light is concerned, the United States sets it at 300 lux, the United Kingdom and Japan set it at 100 lux, and the former Soviet Union sets it at 75 lux. These standards may not be necessary. In line with the actual situation in our country, reactor psychologists conducted a "research on the desktop illuminance of natural light, incandescent lamps, and fluorescent lamps in ordinary classrooms in primary and secondary schools" in the mid-1960s.

Experimental results show:
(1) No matter under natural light or artificial light conditions, the effects of different illuminance on visual function are obviously different. As far as natural light is concerned, under the condition of 20 lux, the degree of visual fatigue is the most serious; under the condition of 60 lux, the degree of fatigue is significantly reduced, and under the condition of 18 lux, the degree of fatigue is the lightest. Considering the national economic situation, the characteristics of school teaching in our country, and the protection of eyesight, it is recommended to use 60-100 Lux as the necessary illuminance for the natural light class desktop in ordinary classrooms in primary and secondary schools, and 180 Lux as the optimal illuminance.
(2) Compared with the incandescent lamp and the fluorescent lamp, under the condition of 20 lux, the degree of fatigue is more serious, but under the condition of 50 lux, the effect of the xenon lamp and the incandescent lamp is better than that of the fluorescent lamp; under the condition of 125 lux, both have better It is recommended that the average illuminance of the desktop in the classroom is 60-70 lux for incandescent lamps and 90-100 lux for fluorescent lamps.
