1.Does the light wrap nicely around or is most outputs straight down since the led strips face down?
Yes - the LED strips are pointed toward the floor, as this is a ceiling mount lamp. And Yes - the soft white diffuser "lens" diffuses the light such that it spreads pretty evenly.
2.Can you wire these to AC power?
No they are 12v-36v dc only.
3.Are the tombstones shunted to accommodate hyperikon brand led tubes?
The LEDs are strips incorporated into the design. There are no tubes.
