Types of LED warehouse lights
LED High Bay Light – The LED High Bay Light is a high ceiling space with a 20-foot ceiling. It is designed to illuminate floors and work areas installed up to 20 feet high. These lights are mainly installed in manufacturing facilities, gymnasiums, warehouses, large department stores, factories, etc.
LED Low Bay Lights - Lights are installed in areas where ceiling heights are typically 10 to 20 feet. LED lights used in low bay areas are typically in the 10,000 to 20,000 lumens range. Compared to high bay lights, they have a smaller height, so they are installed closer to the ground and don't require a sturdy LED light fixture.
Two different types of LED high bay lights
Linear High Bay Lights - These are mostly suspended by chains from 2/2 foot, 2/4 foot heights. They come in higher wattages, from 105W to 300W, and lumens from 10,000 to 40,000 lumens. Linear high bay light is suitable for warehouse lighting.
· UFO High Bay Lights - UFO High Bay Lights use hooks to hang from a height. The light beams emitted by these lights resemble the shape of UFOs, hence the name UFO High Bay Lights. These lamps are available in 100W-240W lamps and output 11,000-35,000 lumens. 150W UFO High Bay LED can replace 400W metal halide, making it environmentally friendly and cost effective.
