There isn't a recognised GU10 measurement. A large number of contemporary GU10 LEDs, however, now adhere to the conventional 53 mm height and 50 mm width. The problem was caused by the first generation of GU10 LED bulbs, which were longer than their halogen counterparts due to the presence of a massive LED driver. It is increasingly normal to replace halogen GU10s with energy-efficient contemporary LED counterparts.
