How can I change the bulb in my RV's ceiling?
How many RVers are required to replace a single lightbulb? Only one... However, if you're climbing any ladders, you may want a friend to keep an eye on you.
When it's time to replace the ceiling light bulb in your RV, turn the lights off first and let them cool. Start by taking out the old lightbulb and putting it to the side. To reach the bulb, you'll need to remove any domes or other fixtures that are covering it or shift them aside. Depending on the kind, twist or push your replacement bulb into position. Make sure it is securely in place by checking. To prevent it from breaking, wrap the old bulb in paper or packing before throwing it away. In general, old bulbs cannot be recycled or reused.
Finally, switch on the light to make sure your lightbulb is operational.
