2. Lighting type
Different types of lamps also have different wattages. Commonly used types of lamps include high-pressure sodium lamps, metal halide lamps, LED lamps, etc. The wattage of high-pressure sodium lamps generally ranges from 400W to 1000W, the wattage of metal halide lamps generally ranges from 200W to 400W, and the wattage of LED lamps will vary according to different models and performance. Different types of lamps have different characteristics in terms of light intensity, brightness, energy efficiency, etc.
3. Venue size
The size of the basketball court is also one of the key factors in the wattage of the light fixture. As the basketball court area increases, the number and wattage of lighting fixtures that need to be installed also increase accordingly. The wattage of the fixtures should be enough to cover every corner of the venue and avoid shadow areas or uneven lighting. With the coordination of various aspects such as venue area and illumination, the lighting wattage required for the basketball court will also increase accordingly.
4. Usage requirements
The usage requirements of the venue are also one of the considerations for lighting wattage. If the basketball court only uses part of the field or is only used for daily leisure activities, the corresponding lighting wattage can be reduced.
