How to judge the heat dissipation of LED Panel Light

How to judge the heat dissipation of LED Panel Light

Many people use the most "earthly" method when choosing a lamp: turn on the lamp for a while, and then touch it with your hands whether it is hot or not.

There are two possibilities that the temperature of the heat sink is not high.

One possibility is that the heat emitted by the LED panel light chip is well dissipated. This big horse-drawn cart is definitely a good thing for buyers, but it is a waste of materials for manufacturers.

Another possibility is that the heat of the chip inside has not been dissipated at all, it is all stored in it. If there is no good contact between the chip and the heat sink, there will be a little impurity in the gap, and the heat of the chip will not be dissipated, and only a small part of the heat will be conducted to the surface. So it may not be good if you feel it on the outside, it may actually be too hot on the inside.

However, the answer to one situation is yes: if a light is turned on for a short while and it feels very hot to the touch, it must be due to insufficient heat dissipation. The generated heat is dissipated, so the heat accumulates on the surface of the radiator, thereby increasing the temperature.
