How to judge the pros and cons of energy-saving industrial and mining light sources
1. Consider the electrical characteristics of semiconductor light-emitting diodes from the electrical performance of energy-saving industrial and mining light sources
The electrical characteristics of the PN junction of LEDs are unidirectional nonlinear conductivity, low-voltage drive, and sensitivity to static electricity. Different from the electrical characteristics of traditional light sources, the main measurement parameters include forward drive current, forward voltage drop, reverse leakage current, reverse breakdown voltage and electrostatic sensitivity, etc.
2. Consider the heat dissipation performance of the PN junction temperature of the power LED
It is particularly important to enable energy-saving high bay lamps to obtain higher power and luminous efficiency, and to solve the problems of PN junction temperature and shell heat dissipation of power LEDs for lighting. The thermal performance of energy-saving high bay lamps is generally judged by parameters such as thermal resistance, case temperature, and junction temperature.
3. The reliability of LED work and the length of life
In particular, energy-saving industrial and mining light sources are more important as the two indicators of LCD backlight sources and large screens. The length of life of the LED we evaluate does not refer to the usable period from use to damage, but refers to the duration of the LED under rated power conditions, when the luminous flux decays to a specified percentage of the initial value. The longer the duration, the longer the life of the LED.
