In ice and snow, LED street lights will take you safely!

Benwei LED Lighting: Under the ice and snow, because the traditional high pressure sodium lamps will distort the driving environment, traffic accidents may occur; but LED street lights can take you safely!

As winter approaches, with cold temperatures, gusts of wind and snow showers sweeping across the country, road lighting issues are especially important in snowy conditions. Since traditional high pressure sodium lighting produces a lower color rendering index (CRI<25) and distorts the driving environment, solid-state broad-spectrum lighting can provide a higher color rendering index (CRI>70) and better vision. Solid-state broad-spectrum lighting uses products with higher color temperature (CCT typically 3,000K to 6,000K) and color rendering index (CRI > 70); solid-state broad-spectrum lighting improves road visibility and object visibility compared to high-pressure sodium sources detection. Light sources with low CRI may "distort" the environment. In areas with frequent snow, LED street lights are ideal for road lighting. The LED system is designed with the proper level and brightness of the light curtain to provide the driver with excellent object detection and contrast in snowy conditions, and the reflective properties of light scattered on the snow-covered road surface can increase the ambient brightness and illuminate the road surface. The road lighting is usually a horizontally oriented optical system, which can prevent ice and snow. If the lighting equipment is properly designed, interference is almost not a problem. During the worst months of the year, LEDs are an excellent choice for improving visibility and keeping roads safe.

When the bad weather in winter comes, LED street lights can create the best driving conditions for the road.
