LED lighting is not the brighter the better


The important point of LED lighting is that while saving energy, it can also have the effect of not only replacing the original light source. It has the potential to change the way people get along with lighting in life and work.

   This is mainly because the use of LEDs can achieve highly free lighting with dimming and color adjustment.

   For example, LED lighting can theoretically achieve 0-100% full-range dimming that is difficult for fluorescent lamps. Although there are also fluorescent lamps that support dimming, there is no type that can be controlled arbitrarily from 0%.

  Furthermore, fluorescent lamps have the problem of shortening their luminous life when lit with a low amount of light. After lighting, it often takes several minutes to stabilize the amount of light. However, LED lighting can extend the light-emitting life with low light intensity, and the responsiveness during dimming is also relatively high.

   Provide necessary light for necessary places

   In Japan in the past, the idea that the brighter the lighting the better. Therefore, there are few cases where these functions are actively used in houses, offices, and cities, such as adjusting the brightness and adjusting the atmosphere including colors according to the situation. Generally, only commercial facilities use these functions.

This is because the reality makes it necessary for people to greatly adjust the traditional lifestyle that runs out of water. Out of these experiences, the understanding of "no need to be too bright" has also been expanded.

   In order to cope with this change in concept, LED can be regarded as the best light source. Because the LED can simply use the necessary amount of lighting and adjust the color temperature where necessary.

   In order to support the advancement of LED lighting, automatic dimming combined with sensors is an effective means. This requires a variety of peripheral technologies and products such as a communication system that connects LED lighting and sensors, as well as a terminal group that controls and manages them. It is difficult to improve the degree of integration with the original lighting companies alone, and should cooperate with communication equipment manufacturers and construction companies.
