In May last year, with the approval of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Chengdu officially ranked among the pilot cities of the national "ten cities and ten thousand lamps" semiconductor lighting application project. This move marked the city's new progress in semiconductor lighting research and development and industrialization. It is reported that there are 21 pilot cities selected this time, including Shanghai, Zhengzhou, Tianjin, Shenzhen and Chengdu. According to the "Chengdu Semiconductor Lighting Application Project Implementation Plan", Chengdu will complete the pilot demonstration of LED lighting during the pilot period, promote the application of more than 10,000 LED street lamps and more than 5,000 tunnel lamps. LED lighting will enter industrial and mining enterprises and ordinary indoors from road lighting. Lighting, Chengdu’s LED industry’s technological leadership, talent gathering ability, and product application scale will be greatly improved.
5000 LED lights in the tunnel
It is reported that the "ten cities and ten thousand lamps" semiconductor lighting application project is another important measure of the Ministry of Science and Technology to promote scientific and technological innovation, promote energy conservation and emission reduction, and stimulate domestic demand. It is mainly to encourage and guide large-scale application in large and medium cities with conditions through state financial subsidies. LED lighting technology and products, accelerate the development of my country's LED lighting industry, and strive to achieve an output value of 100 billion yuan this year.
With the start of our city’s semiconductor lighting application project, our city will invest 100 million yuan to support and promote the construction and use of LED street lights and tunnel lights in the five urban areas and high-tech zones, and demonstrate LED street lights in Xinda Road, West High-tech Zone On the basis of the project, further expand the demonstration area. Among them, before the end of 2011, with the Third Ring Road as the focus, 4,000 high-power high-brightness LED street lights for arterial roads will be demonstrated and promoted, and 3,000 LED branch street lights will be demonstrated and promoted in the new high-tech zone, focusing on the Xinbei District and Tianyashi area. The road is the focus, demonstration and promotion of 3000 LED street lights.
At the same time, on the basis of the LED lighting demonstration project under the first ring road entrance of the Affiliated Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Chengya Expressway entrance tunnel LED lighting demonstration project, the application of tunnel lights will be further promoted. More than 5,000 LED tunnel lights were installed in the remaining roads underneath tunnels and subway tunnels.
