The color RGB UV, Colors, Multicolor, and White CCT Scope
Color selection for LED strips is a matter of taste. If you want diversity and color effects, RGB LED strips are a wonderful choice. Color-changing RGB strip lights are excellent for accent lighting all throughout the house. Red, green, and blue diodes are used so that they may be combined to produce a wide range of colors. Just be sure to utilize a 3-channel controller from this guide's dimming section if you're utilizing RGB strips.
The strips are also available in Ultra Violet (UV) form. For UV applications or creating your own black light, this is a fantastic solution!
Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, and White are the only single colors offered for the strips (3000-6500K CCT).
Correlated Color Temperature, or CCT, is the term used to describe the color temperature of light, which is expressed in degrees Kelvin (K). An LED strip's temperature rating has a direct impact on how the light appears. View the images below for examples. We refer to 3000K as warm white, which has an orange or yellowish hue. The color evolves from yellow to off white to natural white and finally to blue white, often referred to as Cool White, when the degree of Kelvin is raised.
Which color should I select then? Look at the room below that has stripes of warm white, neutral white, and cool white. Have you ever noticed how a strip light's color temperature changes how a room appears as a whole? This all relies on personal taste as well as the general look and atmosphere you want the space to have.
Kitchen with Warm White LED Strips
Warm White makes a space seem comfortable and welcoming. It is often used in areas where people congregate to visit or unwind (living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, etc.).
White neutral LED strips in the kitchen
A natural, sunshine impression is produced by neutral or natural white. This strip is the most popular since it can be put everywhere in the house and resembles natural light. This is the under cabinet LED lighting strip that is most in demand.
Kitchen with cool white LED strips
Cool White adds a vibrant, airy light to modern and contemporary designs. Because it produces a brighter, more concentrated light, cool white is excellent for work lighting. Bathrooms, kitchens, and offices are the locations where bright, cool colors are employed the most.
