On April 25, the major projects of Sichuan Province in 2018 and the Huading Guolian power battery industrialization base project started in the European Industrial City of Qingbaijiang District.
The Huading Guolian power battery industrialization base project is the first batch of major industrial projects introduced by the European Industrial City. The project plans to build the most advanced domestic production line with an annual output of 4,000 tons of high-performance ternary cathode materials and a 3 billion watt-hour power battery production line with an energy density of 260 watt-hours/kg, with an annual output value of more than 3 billion yuan.
The total investment of the project is about 50 billion yuan, which is divided into three phases: near-term, medium-term and long-term. The total investment in the near future is about 10 billion yuan. It is expected that by 2021, a production base with an annual output of 50,000 tons of cathode materials and 10 billion watt-hour power batteries will be built, and the country's largest power battery industrialization base will be built, with an output value of more than 20 billion yuan.
The energy density of the power battery produced in this project will be increased from 260 Wh/kg in the first phase to 350 Wh/kg, and the battery life will reach more than 450 kilometers, providing support for building the global core competitiveness of my country's power battery industry. The battery material project in this project is scheduled to be completed in July this year, and the power battery project is scheduled to be completed and put into operation in December.
