The new EU regulations for category 4 lamps passed

  The draft bill stipulates the energy label requirements for the following four types of electric light products: tungsten filament lamps, fluorescent lamps, high-intensity gas discharge lamps, and LED lamps, and clarifies the responsibilities of suppliers and distributors. The draft does not apply to the following products:

   Products with luminous flux less than 30lm;

   Lighting products sold on the market with batteries as the main power source;

  Products that are not on the market and whose light source products have a visible light range of 380~780nm;

  A product sold in the market that is installed in the lamp and the consumer cannot replace the light source;

  As a part of the product, the main purpose is not to illuminate the product sold in the market.

   In addition to meeting the general requirements of the Directive 2010/30/EU, the draft requirements also specify examples of energy efficiency labels and information requirements for electric lamps and lighting products.
