UV-C LEDs for UVGI / Disinfection

 

We are currently stocking UV LEDs for 275 nm in a variety of packages for design and development as well as one complete light source (UV LED module with heat sink, power supply, cooling fan, and power cord) in order to support disinfection efforts for COVID 19, omicron variant, and other UVGI requirements. This is being done in order to fulfil UVGI requirements.

 

The wavelength of our UVC LEDs is rated as 275 nm (270-280 nm), and they are offered in a variety of power levels and designs to meet your specific needs. Using the following chart of specifications, you can decide whether you want a single, chip-on-board, strip, or complete light source module. Pricing based on volume is available for every item listed in the chart that may be found below. There is also the option of receiving a strip that is longer and has a larger output. The lead time will vary by product and might be anywhere from one to six weeks depending on the item that was chosen and the volume that was needed.

 

In recent years, light-emitting diodes, or LEDs, have begun replacing UV lamps—such as mercury, xenon, amalgam, and excimer—that have been in use in some settings for decades. Because of recent advancements in UV-LED flux density, stability, and life hours, UV LEDs are now a practical alternative to conventional UV light sources such mercury arc lamps, arch lamps, hot and cold cathode lamps, and grid lamps. UV LEDs are better for the environment than traditional light bulbs since they do not release ozone, do not contain mercury, and consume less power than traditional bulbs. In applications such as germicidal (UVGI) for air, surface, and water cleaning, the utilisation of UV-C LEDs is experiencing tremendous growth.

 

Note that LEDs with other wavelengths, including UVA and UVB, are also available. These include 310 nm, 365 nm, and 405 nm. Although the minimum order quantity and lead time are subject to change, they normally begin at 25 pieces and two to three weeks.
