Since 2010, Walmart has reduced energy consumption per square foot by more than 12%. Its LED investments are part of Walmart's science-based emissions reduction plan, which aims to reduce carbon emissions by 18 percent by 2025 (since 2015) through energy efficiency, renewable energy procurement, and improved cooling technologies.
