Have you ever had trouble focusing when studying? Studying in a room with good lighting is the one thing you can do if the answer is yes. You may not understand what a "well-lit room" is, but as lighting professionals, we can tell you that it refers to both the color and placement of the lights. To help you ace your next exam, use these suggestions for the optimum study environment.
What hue of light is most conducive to studying?
How blue or yellow the light hue is is determined by its correlated color temperature (CCT). Its measurement runs from 1500 to 6500 Kelvin on the Kelvin temperature scale. High color temperatures are associated with concentrated and effective study behavior. The ideal LED light color for studying is cool white.
Need a simple method to adjust the ideal study light? To aid with concentration, choose the Concentrate light recipe, which has a cool white setting that is tuned.

Configuring your study lighting
You'll need a lot of light, whether it's in your living room, bedroom, or a separate study area. Even while natural light is preferable, we can't always count on it to be perfect, and studying during the day isn't always practicable. Table lights are useful for illuminating dim winter afternoons or overcast days.
Your light should be positioned such that it is 21 to 25 inches above your desk. If you discover that you must sit quite near to your lamp in order to see better, you should also upgrade the overall lighting in the space. Because a little pool of light may generate glare while the rest of the room is dark. You may also install some pendant lights in your room to reduce the contrast between the light and the darkness.
Install after-school lighting
Pulling an all-nighter to complete your tasks on deadline might happen rather often. However, this won't necessarily improve your health, and it won't be very helpful for you to study or fall asleep later. After finishing your reading, set aside some time to unwind.
Place a floor light next to your sofa or recliner to create a pleasant nook. Set your lights to the Relax light recipe, which will change the light from chilly to warm, and cuddle up with a nice book, puzzle, or other low-effort pastime.
