What is the difference between dry batteries and wet batteries

What is the difference between dry batteries and "wet" batteries

Dry battery, small size, easy to use, there is a certain risk of explosion, can not be charged, low price

Lithium batteries are small in size. Now mobile phone charging treasures are the most used. They can be charged. There is a certain risk of explosion. They can be recharged and discharged. The price is high

Wet battery, large in size, mainly used in batteries, such as car batteries, can be recharged and discharged in cycles, and the price is relatively affordable

The official name of the dry battery is "maintenance-free battery". Compared with the traditional wet battery, the performance parameters are basically the same. In appearance, the maintenance-free battery does not have a screw cap for filling electrolyte, and does not require water maintenance during its normal service life.

There are 6 (12V) caps for filling electrolyte on ordinary rechargeable batteries. During use, it is necessary to regularly check the height of the liquid in the battery and replenish the electrolyte in time.

(1) Dry battery belongs to the primary battery in chemical power supply, which is a kind of disposable battery. Because the electrolyte of this chemical power device is a non-flowable paste, it is called a dry battery, which is relative to a battery with a flowable electrolyte. You can add battery water, but do not exceed the maximum water level, generally marked with the MAX line. Dry-charged lead batteries (such as automobile dry-charged batteries, motorcycle dry-charged batteries, etc.) should be supplemented with distilled water after a period of use, so that the dilute sulfuric acid electrolyte maintains a density of about 1.28g/ml; for maintenance-free batteries, it will be used until its lifespan. The addition of distilled water is no longer necessary for termination.

(2) Wet batteries are lead-acid batteries, which are formed by running acid hydrolysis solution.

Generally speaking, 80% of batteries are distinguished by color: white is water battery, black is dry battery; light is water battery, heavy is dry battery; from appearance accessories: water screw on battery is Water, flat head is dry.
